Why a Food Pantry
Food insecurity and hunger are a problem in every community across our country. At any given time 1 in 7 people suffer from hunger. The situation is graver for children, 1 in 5 are hungry right now. We understand that there are times when we all could use a helping hand. At Greater Grace we have chosen to do our part serving our community not only with spiritual guidance but feeding the body as well.
It Starts with People
Our food pantry offers a wide range of foods for all our guests. All our guests will receive fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy products, sweets, bread, and commodities.
Humble Beginnings
Our food pantry is a choice pantry, one of our volunteers will escort each guest through every section of our pantry. They help with the selection process and can answer any questions about the various foods we provide. This 1 on 1 shopping experience allows our guests to know us and us them. Our guests always lave with a large grocery cart full of food.
Model Food Pantry
It is our mission to be the most beneficial food pantry in our community. Greater Grace is the current award winner of the agency of the year awarded by the Toledo Northwest Ohio food bank. We have no zip code restrictions, and all are welcome. All we ask is that all of guests have a valid identification card of some sort.
