Church

Vision:

We are a body of believers with one mind and one heart to know the Word of God, to live the Word and share the Word of God. We are fitly joined together as the body of Christian ministry to this community, city and nation and the world by the Holy Spirit. We endeavor to assist the community in which we are located to see the light of the love of God, that they may be inspired to transform their lives and neighborhood. Through the preaching of the Word, our witness and outpoured love, so that others may come to know the love of God and grow to serve Him. We embrace the ministry of reconciliation, and are willing to minister, from the North, the South, the East and the West. They are coming halt, hurt, bruised and lame. God is preparing us to minister to the needs of His people as we yield ourselves to Him.

Mission:

Greater Grace Christian Church will be a non-denominational Church. It is our intention to grow and strengthen the many ministries that we currently have in place. Which are our outreach, food pantry, sacred arts, Christian education, hospitality and the Vessels of Grace. Our outreach ministry currently supports our pastor and works hand in hand bringing the Word to our community via one on one contact and social media, our food pantry will serve on average 500 – 7000 families on a monthly basis. We will distribute on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month.

Our Sacred arts ministry shares the Word of God through song with our choir, they along with the Vessels of Grace not only minister at our church they also visit nursing homes, other churches and bring their talents to many of our city parks with our Praise in the park series.

Our Christian education ministry shares the Word through our Bible study along with our community prayer walk. They also support our food pantry by praying for those who are in need of prayer and offer comfort to those who may be experiencing a hurt.

Our hospitality ministry serves a full breakfast on Sunday mornings prior to our worship service and they also provide a full dinner prior to our Wednesday evening Bible study. These meals are not only offered to our congregation but to the community at large as well. It is also in our plans to offer a monthly soup kitchen. This ministry also provides full meals after all special services that are held.

The Vessels of Grace are our dance and Praise and Worship team. They are comprised of our youth and adults. They routinely minister in our church, but they also bring their gifts to other churches and to our community through or Praise in the Park series.
